Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and [OPERATOR NAME] ("we", "us") for your use of TIDEFALL ("the game"). By creating an account or playing, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not play.

1. Who can play

You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, you should have a parent or guardian's permission, especially before making any purchase.

2. Your account

• You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity on your account.
• Guest accounts are tied to your device. If you lose or reset it, your progress may be lost unless you have linked an email.
• Accounts are personal. Selling, trading or sharing accounts is not allowed.

3. Virtual items

Monsters, runes, in-game currencies and other virtual items are licensed to you for use in the game only. They have no real-world value, cannot be exchanged for real money, and you do not own them. We may change, rebalance or remove virtual items as the game evolves.

4. Purchases

• In-app purchases are processed by Google Play or the Apple App Store and are subject to their terms.
• Refunds are handled by the store you bought from, under its refund policy.
• If something you paid for does not arrive, contact support with your store order ID.

5. Rules of conduct

You agree not to:

• Cheat, exploit bugs, or use bots, hacks, modified clients or automation tools.
• Harass, threaten, bully or abuse other players.
• Post hateful, sexual, illegal or spam content in chat, names or guild text.
• Impersonate staff or other players.
• Try to access our servers, other accounts or data without permission.

6. Moderation

We may warn, mute, suspend or permanently ban accounts that break these terms, and remove virtual items gained through cheating or exploits. Serious or repeated breaches may lead to an immediate ban.

7. Our content

The game, including its art, characters, music, text and code, belongs to us or our licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute or reverse-engineer it except as allowed by law.

8. Availability

We work to keep TIDEFALL running, but cannot promise it will always be available or error-free. We may update, change or pause the game, and may end the service with reasonable notice.

9. Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time. See Delete Account. We may close accounts that seriously or repeatedly break these terms.

10. Liability

The game is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect losses or for loss of virtual items or progress. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK or EU, you may also have rights under your local consumer laws.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. We will change the date above and, for significant changes, notify players in the game. Continuing to play means you accept the updated terms.
